Price for photos

You shoot the photos with your digital camera and sell them to us. You'll get USD 3.- per usable photo (USD = US Dollar).

Price for videos

You film videos with your digital camcorder (miniDV or HDV or AVCHD) and sell them to us. You'll get USD 150.- per 10 minutes of usable video.

Copyright

Since you're the photographer you're keeping all rights on your photos and videos. This means you may sell them to other websites as well,
or do with them whatever you like. We are only buying the right to use them, not to own them.

Digital camera requirements
-
The camera must have at least 6 Megapixels. Set it to the highest image quality (maximum resolution, lowest compression, ISO 100).
If you use a DSLR please shoot in RAW format.

Camcorder requirements
-
The camcorder must use the miniDV (tape), or HDV (tape), or AVCHD (memory card) format (no camcorders recording on DVD).
For AVCHD camcorders set it to the highest image quality, i.e the highest data rate possible. If you're not sure about your camcorder tell us its exact name
and we'll say if it's ok or not.

Visible face

Your model must pose with visible face. We can't use pictures with masked or blurred faces (we did that in the beginning but got many negative feedbacks).
At least, the model might use dark sunglasses, if she likes.

Important: Send unprocessed photos
-
Please do not process the photos in a graphic program. Just copy the photos from your camera's memory card without altering them.

Important: Shoot all photos in horizontal format
-
Never turn the camera 90 degrees to shoot vertical photos (portrait format), even if there's a lot of free space on the left and right side of the model.
Always shoot horizontal photos (landscape format). Make sure to keep the camera strictly horizontal, don't tilt it.

Important: Do not use the zoom
-
Please shoot all photos and videos in the wide-angle position of the lens (28mm to 40mm according to normal 35mm film).
For close-ups do not zoom in, but go closer with the camera itself, keeping the zoom lever at the wide-angle position.

Number of photos

You can send photos anytime and as many as you like. There's no maximum number of photos. Just shoot photos whenever you've got
time and fun to do it. After you've sent a bunch of photos, we'll tell you how many are usable and we'll send you the money.
Don't send too many photos for the first time, so we have a chance to improve some potential photographic mistakes (just in case). Send
about 100 to 200 photos for the first time.

Receiving the money

You'll get the money right after you've sent the photos. You don't need to wait until your photos actually appear on www.SiliconeFree.com.
If you send let's say 200 usable photos you'll get USD 600.- within a couple of days.
We'll send the money either via Western Union, or in cash in an envelope (for small amounts),
or transfer it to your banking account. Just let us know what you prefer.

Sending the photos

The most convenient way is to transfer the photos online via FTP to our server. Let us know and we'll install a FTP access for you and send some detailed instructions about FTP.
Or you can burn the photos to DVD-R and send the disk via mail to our address. Or you can attach single photos to emails and send them to info@siliconefree.com.

Sending the video

If you film on miniDV or HDV tapes please send the tape itself to our address. We'll send the tape back, if you like.
If you film on memory card (AVCHD) copy the pure AVCHD files (usually .MTS files) to DVD-R and send the DVD-R via mail, or send the memory card itself (and we'll send it back).
Or transfer the AVCHD files via FTP to our server (needs a high speed internet connection, as the AVCHD files are very large).

If you're a professional photographer and must pay your models

We are paying our models USD 100.- per hour but of course you can offer your models whatever you think is appropriate. If you do a 4 hours session and you
shoot let's say 30 minutes of usable video plus 150 usable photos you'll get USD 900.-, so you can pay the model USD 400.- and still earn USD 500.-.

I'm interested in selling pictures. What must I do now?
|
First of all, please send a topless photo of your model to judge her breast size. For the photo please:
- Stand upright with hanging arms.
- Let the breasts hang freely.
- The upper body should be naked.
- The photo should show the body from neck to hips (no close-ups).
- You can omit the head, if you like.
- Here's an example of a good photo to judge breast size. The quality of the photo doesn't matter.
Please send the photo by email to info@siliconefree.com. We'll take a look and email you back.
If we think that the breasts are too small we will delete the photo.
If your model's breasts are big enough you can start shooting photos and videos. But first please read the "How to shoot good..." sections below.
